We have shows for every stage of Early Years (ages 0 to 5), Primary (6-12) and Secondary School, each with its own level of English, humour and length.

It's not essential. Our shows are designed so that any pupil, whatever their level, can enjoy and take part. On top of that, the extensive preparatory material we provide helps get the most out of the experience.

No. The actor comes to your school with everything needed. Our activities are pretty minimal in terms of props and set, so they can be set up in almost any space your school has available: an assembly hall, a library, a gym, a corridor… even a goat shed would do!

It depends on the show: up to 50 pupils for Early Years shows and the first two years of Primary, and up to 75 pupils for Years 3-6 of Primary and Secondary School.

Yes, they're native speakers with years of experience working in schools. Our whole team performs 100% in English.

Our style is one-person theatre, which means there's only one actor. Even so, they create a very dynamic atmosphere, inviting every pupil to take part. Some may even come up on stage to get directly involved, using their English to work through the scene.

Yes. We include preparatory material so pupils recognise characters, vocabulary and context before the show. That way, when the story starts, the group already has what they need to listen, take part and help move the action forward.

They take part. The actor asks questions, sets challenges and hands out roles during the show, so the group has to listen in English and respond to move the story forward. The photos and videos on this page are from real shows at schools, not rehearsals.

A space where the group can sit down, and a little time beforehand to set up. No stage or set is needed: the props are minimal and the actor brings everything necessary. If you're unsure about the space, tell us what you have available and we'll confirm it with you.

Yes, all our additional activities are run in English and designed for pupils to practise the language in a natural, fun way.

They're designed for Secondary School, when pupils start thinking about what they want to do. Mike delivers them in English, and they're all about finding what drives each person to push themselves further.

The total number of attendees per day, across all sessions, needs to be above 100 pupils in the Community of Madrid, or 150 pupils in the rest of Spain, to cover the team's travel.

We recommend getting in touch several weeks in advance, especially during our busiest months (autumn and spring), to secure the date that best fits your school's calendar.

Yes, for the school's internal use. If you'd like to publish them on your website or the school's social media, let us know beforehand: we just ask that you credit Chameleon Theatre and that you have image permissions in place for any pupils who appear.
